Gabriela "Gaby" earned a double Bachelor's in Psychology and English with an emphasis in Teaching from UC Davis. She has a decade of experience in child development at Peregrine School, working in and out of the classroom. She is bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish. Gaby has served as a mentor at a Boys and Girls Club in Los Angeles, and an advisor for Sigma Alpha Zeta Sorority, Inc., a UC Davis multicultural sorority that promotes education, community service, academic excellence, and upward mobility for all women, while advocating against domestic violence. She is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society Relay of Life of Davis and Bark For Life of Davis events. Gaby's interests include community involvement, travel, and outdoor adventures. She is passionate about continually learning and implementing the best ways to teach and inspire children and teaching those best practices to other teachers.
