Emma started sewing in early elementary school. It was a skill that she continued to use throughout her life, from working in the costume shop of a youth theater company, to mending or tailoring clothes for friends and family, to even sewing her wedding dress. In previous years Emma has taught after school classes in fiber and textile arts to elementary students. She hopes that students in this class will learn skills that they can use for the rest of their lives.
